What is the procedure to open an account as a visually impaired or illiterate person at SS Corporate?

Visually impaired or illiterate persons will have to open their accounts offline. To open an account offline, you can call +91 11 47003600. You will be assigned a sales manager who will help you open your account.

The below points have to be kept in consideration when filling up the account opening forms -

1. The Left thumb impression of the client instead of signatures wherever mandated in the application forms and the supporting documentation.
2. Notary or Doctor's attestation required on the KYC page and supporting documents (Pan and address proof).
3. Documentation should be done by Bloom employee(s) and pick up agents. It cannot be done by Bloom partner(s)/partner pickup agents. If a partner is doing the same, the partner should complete the documentation.
4. The following comment has to be written on KYC page - "Client has signed in my presence and we have explained the account opening procedure to the client" along with the signature of the person who has done the documentation on behalf of the client and the name & signature of a witness to the documentation.
5. The following comment has to be written on the Risk Disclosure Document (RDD) - "Details explained to BO and he has signed in our presence" along with the signature of the person who has done the documentation on behalf of the client and the name & signature of a witness to the documentation. The implications of the RDD must be explained in the vernacular language as well, and the RDD must be signed in the client's vernacular language.
