Why do I have to complete my KYC again when I register an account with SS Corporate? I completed my KYC when I started my bank account; why do I have to do it again when I open an account with SS Corporate?

The bank's and broker's KYC procedures are not the same. Brokerage firms must register with the KRA for KYC, whilst banks must register with the Central KYC Agency for CKYC.

Note:
KYC is only available to SEBI intermediates, whereas CKYC is available to everyone in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) industries.
The PAN number is used to identify KYC. CKYC, on the other hand, is identified by a 14-digit number (CKYC number).
The KYC is created/retrieved with us during the account opening procedure, and you do not need to go through any additional steps.
